Abstract

This thesis discusses the struggle of a teacher for special need children depicted in beautiful child’s novel Torey Hayden. The interesting issue raised in this article is what the struggle reveals in the novel beautiful child. And how the influence of the struggle in his life in the novel Beautiful Child by Torey Hayden. The result of this discussion shows that the struggle of Torey Hayden as a teacher for children with special needs that is to change the lives of children with autism into normal children, and also can reinteract with other humans. Children special needare defined as individuaals considered normal by society in general. More specifically, children with special needs exhibit lower, or higher physical, intellectual, and emotional characteristics than normal children of their age or beyond the normal standars of society
