Abstract

The research describes the analysis of moral values in Freedom Writers movie. The research tried to find a problems about the moral values in Freedom Writers movie andthe implication on Education. The study is expected to be beneficial for the teachersand students in every school around the world The study used qualitative research design method to analyze moral value in Freedom
Writers. This study used the theory from Nurgiyantoro who told about the moral valuesin the literary work principle and human life relation with themselves, to God, and thenature.
From this study, the moral values that found in Freedom Writers are : (1) body shamingis not good, (2) Try to be empathize and opened, (3) Learn what is right to do, (4) Bebrave and honest, (5) Apologize, (6) Smile in any situation, (7) Teacher don’t wanttheir student fail, (8) Parent would support their teacher, and (9) sacrifice for thestudent. For the implication of moral values in education are : (1) History is importantsubject in education, (2) Teamworks is important in education, (3) Teacher must bepatient for their students, (4) Study is important, (5) Guide the students to be a betterperson, and (6) Learn the material from the teacher give
