Abstract
The development of public transport services from year to year, is increasingly becoming a major concern of the community. This is because the public demand for convenient public transport is increasing. On the other hand, the public transport services companies face increasingly tight price competition and the promotion of the many ground transportation company that is fast, cheap, and convenient. The aim of this research to analyze the Sancaka executive and business class train service, as one of the land transportation which has not been managed optimally, and to analyze the most appropriate strategies to improve the quality of railway services Sancaka executive and business class.Data were analyzed using the Focus Group Discusson, SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, Threat). The results of this study indicate that the Service quality improvement on business and executives class Sancaka train can be realized with a good cooperation between the government, the organizing body (PT. Kereta Api) and community participation as the passenger of rail transport. From the SWOT analysis, the recommended strategy is the grow and build strategythat improvements in all divisions of the company to increase the competitive advantage held so as to compete with other transportation modes
