Abstract

Vickynisasi roars the Indonesia’s entertainment world. It was popularized by Hendrianto or Vicky Prasetyo. It is utterances which are stated by Vicky Prasetyo known as the style of Vicky Prasetyo’s speaking. This new style of speaking has been a poison to Bahasa Indonesia and English because of its ungrammatical utterance. Most of Indonesian especially professional in showbiz or entertainment world speaks Vickynisasi to create trigger of laughing. So many nettizens are afraid this will be a destroyer especially for Bahasa Indonesia, but there are some of them thinks that it is like a creative effort. Pesbukers is one of Indonesia comedy television program where Vicky Prasetyo becomes one of the comedians. This study is conducted to identify the type of presuppositions of selected Vickynisasi utterances which are stated on Pesbukers Program on ANTV and to analyze how the meaning of the presupposition is shaped in Vickynisasi utterances which are stated on Pesbukers Program on ANTV. The study uses the theory of presupposition from George Yule to do the analysis. The study uses descriptive qualitative method. The data is Vickynisasi utterances and the source of data is Vicky Prasetyo. The study collects the data from transcription of two Pesbukers videos on www.youtube.com. The data are categorized into the types of presupposition. The analysis of data uses rules as the pattern of analyzing presupposition based on George Yule’s theory of presupposition. After that, the data is interpreted using contextual explanation. The analysis finds that The six types of presupposition based on Yule’s theory are found in Vickynisasi utterance. They are Existential Presuppositions, Factive Presuppositions, Non-factive Presuppositions, Lexical Presuppositions, Structural Presupposition, and Counter-factual Presupposition. The meaning of the presupposition from each data is analyzed using Rule A and then are more interpreted using contextual explanation by concerning in the context when the utterances are spoken. The study suggest that other researchers will do research about Presupposition in other figure who have unique style of speaking like Vicky Prasetyo with his Vickynisasi.
